Glam Studios is a salon brand. This Kamla Nagar salon is independently owned and operated by Glamour Emporium.

Glamour Emporium is registered as a micro enterprise under Udyam, the Government of India's MSME registry, number UDYAM-UP-01-0074765, registered 1 September 2023, activity code 96020, hairdressing and other beauty treatment, at this address. The salon employs eight people. Establishments with fewer than twenty employees are outside the Uttar Pradesh Shops and Commercial Establishments Act under the state's 2025 amendment, so no registration under that Act is required for this salon; the GSTIN above and the Udyam registration are the registrations that apply.

Booked first, walk-ins when a chair is free.

Book on WhatsApp or by phone on 9927800111. Walk-ins are welcome and are taken when a chair is free; a booked client is served first. Bridal, party makeup, hair colour, keratin and smoothening are by appointment only, because the chair is blocked for the whole service.

If you are running late, message us and we hold the chair as long as the day allows; after a long delay we fit you into the next free chair rather than rush your service. To cancel or move an appointment, a message by the evening before is all we ask. An advance paid for a slot moves with you to the new date.

A patch test first, and tell us about your skin.

A patch test is done 48 hours before your first colour, keratin, smoothening or chemical treatment with us, and again when you change product. A strand test is done before any lightening. This is why "First repair, then style" is on our wall: if a strand test says the hair will not take a service that day, we say so.

Tell us before the service if you are pregnant or nursing, have an allergy, a scalp or skin condition, a recent peel, laser or facial treatment, or take a medicine that affects the skin. If we think a service is not safe for you that day, we say so and suggest what we can do instead.

Fresh for every client.

Razor blades, waxing strips, spatulas, nail files and buffers are single-use: opened in front of you, thrown away after you. No double dipping in wax. Towels and capes are laundered between clients. Scissors, combs, brushes, clippers and nail tools are cleaned and disinfected between clients. Makeup is applied with disposable applicators or brushes that are cleaned after each face. The products we use are the professional ranges named on each service page, from sealed stock.

If it is not what we agreed, we fix it in the chair.

Say so before you leave, or on WhatsApp within 48 hours, and we put it right at no charge: a colour that has not taken as agreed, a cut that is uneven, nail work that lifts within the first days. We put it right in the chair first; where that is not possible, we talk about what is fair. A result that depends on the condition of your hair, which we told you about before the service, is discussed the same way.

Retail products bought at the studio are exchanged unopened, with the bill, within seven days. An opened product cannot be exchanged, for hygiene.

A bill for every service, in the registered name.

We take cash, UPI and cards. Every service is billed, and the bill carries the registered name of the business, Glamour Emporium, and its GSTIN 09AFHPA6437R1ZW. The figures on the bill are the printed prices on the rate card, less any offer the studio confirmed to you on WhatsApp before the service.

Children, companions, belongings.

Children are welcome for their own service, with a parent present. The waiting area is small, so one companion with a client, please; during a chemical service we ask companions to wait in the seating area, for safety with the products. Keep your bag and phone with you at the chair. Our team speaks to you with respect and asks the same.

One weekly off for everyone, and the Act's standards kept by choice.

The studio serves clients seven days a week. Nobody on the team works seven days: every stylist, makeup artist, beautician, manager and helper has one weekly day off, taken in rotation, and the week's roster is put up in advance. A working day on the floor is nine working hours inside a ten-hour shift with a one-hour meal break, forty-eight hours a week; any hour beyond is overtime at double rate, and no day runs past eleven hours. With eight people the salon is below the twenty-employee threshold of the Uttar Pradesh Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, and it keeps the Act's standards anyway: appointment letters for every employee, seating for standing work, written consent and a safe way home for women on the evening shift, no one under eighteen. The makeup photographs on this site are our own work, photographed in our studio. Client videos are clients speaking after a visit, published with their consent. The 2024 styled shoot is labelled "Styled shoot" wherever it appears, and the people in it are models. Drawn images that show the kind of service, or that sit behind text, are labelled "Illustration". If a photograph or a clip is yours and you want it taken down, message us and it comes down.
